I had Rheumatic fever as a child. I am now 54 and am having lots of problems. I am beginning to wonder if I am having a recurrence of it. I have terribly sore joints, one day in one hand then next day in the other. My fingers swell, my ankles are sore all the time and my feet are killing me. I have a sore throat at this moment, but not strep throat, my fingers get swollen but aren't particularly red. But they are very sore. I can hardly walk because of the pain in my feet, the swelling and pain in my joints feels like it is attacking my whole body at one time. I thought I probably had arthritis, because it is prevelant in my family. But I just don't see how it could be in my whole body at once. Anyone else feeling like this?? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you Joani
