I recently have been having a burning sensation in my mouth particularly on my tongue and soft palate. Upon examinaiton it looks like my taste buds are red and extremely painful. Also on my soft palate are red areas with the same tiny red buds inflammed also. I can't eat because it is very painful and burns. I am not able to taste anything either. I am not on any new medications except bill contol pills and I haven't been on any antibiotics any time recently. I don't know what type of doctor to see for this problem. My dentist did not know what it was. I need help please.
