Hi Maryfaith. Has anyone answered you yet?? I just now found this site. I do believe you can get CTS again. You could have another nerve test to see for sure. Ijust had surgery on both of my hands. Have been out of work since Jan. 5. It's my right shoulder that give me the most pain. The hands are fine now. Did your shoulder hurt you also? I'm trying to find out if the shoulder is related to the CTS. Would love to hear from you. Marilyn
