Carol, I had a similiar experience. I went through 3 years of uti's. I would get them so often. The doc would ask my about wiping' I told him it wasn't from that. Finally, I found a urologist that listened. He said my bladder was inflamed from the constant irritation of infection. He put me on Prosed/DS, an internal antiseptic, and 2 months of microdantin. It worked!!! I still get an ocassional uti, but NOTHING like before. I hope this helps you.
