I am a 44 year old male, and I have come down with DVT phlebitis. I had it 2 years ago, when the doctors put me on heparin, and coumadin. I was cured for awhile, and now, 2 years later, I have come down with it again. First it was in the left leg, now it is in the right leg. The doctors have no idea what is causing it. I have never been inactive, I have never had severe trauma to the leg, I have never had a heart attack. All my blood tests are negative, no disease, nothing in the blood. Everything is normal with my blood. No one knows why this is happening.
