I have hadRSD for over 7 years. I suggest you see an anesthesiologist for a series of blocks, as this may help relieve some of your symptoms. I have a multitude of other medical situations that are affected by my RSD (which is generalized-from head to toe.) I know a woman who had a sympathectomy on one side, & she is doing pretty good, although, she doesn't sweat, or blush, or even tan on that side now. However, she has no pain, but the RSD is still affecting her on the other side. As far as SS Disability, I am not an attorney, & therefore I can't advise you on this matter. Try changing treating dr.'s, & get a second opinion. Good luck. Don't dwell on the RSD, live life as best as you can..
