I have had cervical dysplasia twice in the last 12 years. The first time, the doctors performed a colposcopy, where they take tissue samples. Then they froze the cervix and everything was well until i gave birth to my daughter 4 years later. It came back and this time had also gone into my uterus. This time I was put on hormone therapy. At first provera and later a low dose birth control pill. That was 5 years ago. I have had biospies every year since then and all tests have been negative. I have had several friends this has happened to as well and they are also fine now. It is important that you continue to follow up with your check ups after treatment to stay on top of it.
