Cryosurgery is usually done first, especially in mild cases. It is less painful than the LEEP, which is a heat cauterizing treatment. With the cryo, it takes about two weeks to heal, you will have a slight watery discharge, but not a lot of pain. Either way, do it as your Dr. orders because it could save your life. Better to be safe and treated vs. letting it get worse. Good luck.
