vasectomy questions

Yes, I know of men that have had vasectomy surgery and then, in some cases years later, they somehow failed because the cut tubes found their way together again. It is not very common any longer however. Now doctors move the cut ends far apart to better insure this does not happen. It is possible to reverse a vasectomy, but it is not as simple as the original surgery from the experience a gentleman I know underwent. He said it was much more painful then the vasectomy and the doctor told him he could not necessarily guarantee he would be able to father any children after reattachment. I would think twice about when you wish to have this surgery and plan for it to be permanent. After two children, both of them almost died during child birth, my husband had a vasectomy. It was no joy ride for him yet we have never regreted it. It was wonderful to eliminate the necessity for other forms of birth control that had been either unreliable or very health endangering for me.
