I am 64 and have suffered fron chtonic sinusitis for a long time. I have had surgery twice and I ab about to enter hospital again to have polyps removed. I have been taking prescribed antibiotics for years,any imorovements have been temoorary and of short term.I have found saline sprays of benefit and allergy desensitisation is probably the best hope. I live in Australia which is often called the allergy cacital of the world. I have been in aaallergy desesitisation programme for 3 years with some improvement.I lived in Capetown South Africa for 8 years on the coast with a prevailing wind from the sea and I never suffered in 10 years. Airborne allergents are I think the biggest common problem. all the best----Bill
