Whenever I have a flare (which unfortunately is often because I have chronic Cell.)I usially have to be hospitalized (6 times in 16 months)and put on IV anti-biotics.When I am released I take high dosages of oral anti-biotics.I am currantly taking 2000 mg. of Amoxicillin a day.I am also Diabetic and that tends to aggravate the situation.It is something you must make sure your mother stays under a Dr.'s care for as it can lead to blood poisoning & very serious complications.
