I have just been told that I have an abnormal pap test, caused by HPV a.k.a warts. I was and still am very shocked. I've been married for 12 years, but apparently this can flare up anytime after infection. I was humiliated to tell my husband. I have to go back for another pap in 3 months, and was also told that the next time I may be all cleared up. That confuses me even more, because this doesn't go away. Does my husband have to get tested too? And if so, what good would that do? Neither one of us has any warts that can be seen. I'm so upset and don't know what to think.
