Does anyone know of any underlying cause that may cause a bruise to develope a cacification in the middle of it.I have obseved a child who has a bruise on his abdomen with no know cause. It has a very hard center-like a knot. This is the second bruise on the abdomen of this nature. Bleeding studies have been done and are within normal limits. Mom is taking steroids for Addisons disease. She is still breast feeding this child. Any ideas? Thanks! Kathy
