I experience the same irregular habits. I do not eat too much fibre, because for me in causes pain in excess. I guess it is all about moderation. I have severe pains, but they go away after I go to the bathroom, and take a hot bath. People who know me, know that I find anyway to get heat on my abdomen. I probably didn't answer your question.
