I too have "sweets" for over 7 years. The difference is they gave me the correct diagnosis,without any help to control it. The first doctor just said take this cream and apply it daily. Which didn't control much. He wasn't very through. At this time I was living in the Cayman Islands, I didn't have many outbreaks. I have already had thyroid problems and was on medcations. Atfer our return from the Islands I began to get majoir muscle pain and fitigue. So to make a long story shorter I visited a rheumatologist,she diagnosed Fibromyalgia. Then a few weeks later it had the worsen! Thats when I went to another derma doc and she confrimed "sweets". She was conceren that I should also she an oncologist. So I am still waiting to see if this is more than just the breakouts. If you have more info to share please post asap!!! GREATFUL IN OCALA
