I am not that old but I do know this I recently watched a movie regerding Adrenoleukodystrophy and in it was a young boy around the age of five . His parents studied the disease and eventually found a cure for ALD. The movie is called "Lorenzo's Oil". You should Emmeidiately notify your doctor and ask if it is possible to get some of lorenzo's oil(oleic acid). Ald is caused by when the myelin start to stop working and eventually there aren't any left in the body and it causes death. The disease is a recessive sex-linked disease and is passed on from the mother if she is a carrier. The disease ALD is also caused by a very high % of Saturated Fats and by taking lorenzos oil at a young age it will eventually lower his saturated fat level to normal and if it works he could be a little boy once again.Have faith and don't give up there is hope.
