You were requesting information on symtoms with shunt. I have a daugther who was shunted at 3 days old, and shi is 23 yrs. old now. Shunt block is sometimes hard to access. My daughters' music teacher noted that she would play a piece very well, and the next week she had a very hard time. So in small things she had trouble with hand eye coordination. Her personality also changed, she grew easy to upset. Symtoms, also can be flu like, but with out fever. She was also very hard to get out of bed. Did not have the ability to get upright, but once gravity started the shunt again she got better.I hope this helps you to help understand.
