In September, 1999, after an MRI and CT of the brain I was diagnosed with a small AN. After considerable research on the net I decided to have Fractionated Stereotactic Brain Radiosurgery in December at Staten Island University Hospital in New York. Dr. Lederman, Director of Radiation Oncology there, invented the painless procedure. I URGE you to contact them at 1-800-285-4584 for video tapes on the subject. They, in my opinion, are the best! Most doctors insist on immediate brain surgery. PLEASE don't have surgery until you have seen the tapes and talked to New York. They are VERY helpful. Please feel free to "talk" to me anytime!
