Dear Diane, We have all been there, and understand. Since I was 8 years old I suffered with anemia, chronic fatigue, abdominal pain, etc... Finally, I just decided that I would keep going to doctors until I found out what was wrong with me. I don't understand why doctors don't listen to their patients, they know more about their own bodies then the doctors do. Anyway, two years ago I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. I can't even count the number of doctors and emergency room visits that I endured. It took 30 years to be diagnosed correctly, and even then doctors aren't sure how to deal with a lot of diseases. I know it's discouraging, but until someone decides to make a change and teach doctors how to have hearts and ears, we have to keep going. That's why websites like this help give us all support and understanding that we can't get elsewhere. Don't give up. Read everything you can and don't let the doctors get you down. The more you know the more you can protect yourself and help get the answers that your looking for. Remember, don't give up just keep going back until you find a doctor who will listen. If not please know you have friends that have gone through this. It's not easy, I too get tired of the medical bills and the stress.
