Kathy, I also had a shunt placed at age 33, and to tell you the truth , I dont know that it has helped me any, I still have the pressure headaches, whenever I lift something heavy or sneeze or cough I get a headache, the Doctor who put the shunt in said he is satisfied with the way things look, the truth of the matter is my mri results dont look any diffent from befor I had this proceedure done, so my hands are in the air I dont know what to do, the doctor said if he were to do a shunt revision there's a chance it could make things worse, SO, What to do?
