Getting a prescription to Preampro (Estrogen replacement therapy) helped a lot - though it took about three months to click in. Also alcohol, even a couple of tastes, brings on hot flashes in me. Rinsing off in tepid to chilly water after showering - even in the Winter - helps, too.
