I've had implants for over 20 years and this is actually my 3rd set, I've had ruptured silicone ones removed (all the silicone was contained in the area) And I had saline ones put in their place. I have been involved with lawyers and I just got a letter asking if I was experencing any of the 20+ symptoms mentioned. I had not been sick before and all the studies that came out said that silicone was not responsible for these illness so then why is the major manufacturer doling out BIG money to those who even "opted out" from sueing? I have been ill for over 10 months to the point I have been out of work on paid benefits for all this time, dealing with depression and I match all the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrom and I'm having terrible memory losses and my cognitive reasoning seems to be visiting another planet because it's not here. I've gone from dr to dr who treat me like I'm nuts or a hypochondriac. I feel BAD! Then last week I get the lawyer letter and I had half of the symptoms on the list! As soon as I'm awarded my $'s I'm having my implants removed. I just want to know when they do come out will I feel better? All I want is my health back, and I've read one or 2 articles that the woman's health does improve quite a bit afer the removal. Was it Jenny Jones from TV who had hers removed & wrote a book? And has anyone come accross any info on a silicone allergy? I would like to hear from anyone that can offer any info. After all over 2 million of us got the darn things! Thanks for reading this! HELP!
