FEELING SICK ALL THE TIME

Betty (49)

Message 6 of 11 Previous Next

Hey, Really only a good physical can really rule out causes..but I can tell you I have gone on hormones (premphase) and the hot flashes stoped within two or three days..I also had a lot of problems with nausea..My gyn kept stating that nausea was not a syptom of menepause...she kept wanting me to have a lot of test done for gallbladder problems, hernia, etc. I knew that was not the problem,,I just didn't have those other symptoms that go with those..The nausea would hit suddenly and was worst early in the morn if I didn't eat right away...felt a lot like that pregnant sick..might be sick feeling. But I got to where I threw up at night sometimes...and then felt better..I also felt tired all the time..I eventually found out I had type 2 diabetes..They said Nausea was definately not a symptom of diabetes..BUT I CAN TELL YOU WITH ME IT DEFINATELY WAS. Anything startchie would could come back up after an hr or so..once I went to a dietician and found out about carbs, It completely went away within days.. Only happened once after that and then I had eaten a large baked potatoe... Some times some people have lesser common symptoms..Diabetes is inexpensive to rule out..type 2 is also called "onset" and most common as we approach middle age. but It could also be stress, gall bladder will definately do it too ...but I'd rule out the easier first..
