Hello and I hope your child is better. My son was 1 and a half when he had his first seizure and when he was taken to the emergency room I was told he had febrile seizure and most likely it would continue until he was 5 years old. Well he has had plenty of seizures since then and he is now 6 years old on medication for seizures because now Doctor does not think he was having febrile seizures. I personally think my son is an epileptic it runs in my family, my son is currently seeing a neurologist and has had 3 EEGs and they all come out normal but had seizure a year ago so if you need to see a neurologist do it because no one knows better than a parent how hard it is when your child is having this condition.
