Muscular Dystrothy and Myopathy My grandmother was a carrier of genetic defects of one of these diseases. She had minimal disease symptoms. And I know my father is a carrier too. It is necessary for me to get some information now. My doctors can tell me nothing. What's the difference between MD and Myopathy? Is it true that people with MD (congenital) and Myopathy (central core disease) can take in Levocarnitine (L-carnitine)? Are there any MD and Myopathy Associations in Russia?
