Hello Jeff-- I am married to man that has this and he is deaf also. He is the catagory of severe to profoundly deaf. We have a 20 month old daughter who has so far not shown any signs of Waardenburg. Her hearing was tested after she was born and she is ok. My husband on the other hand has alot of the signs. The hearing loss, premature gray hair, he started graying at 12 and he is now 29 and almost completely silver gray. He also has the two different colored eyes and the almond shape eyes. He wears hearing aides and reads lips. He doesn't sign at all. If you would like to have more info I would be glad to email you copies of literature that I have. Hope I was of some help.
