I had severe cellulitis and was hospitalized twice for iv antibiotic treatment. Finally I had two spots surgically removed on my left breast. It has been almost three months since my surgery and the spots have not returned. Oral antibiotics did not even make a dent in the infections. The only thing that worked temporarily was IV antibiotics. However, that seemed to work for a little while. Surgery was the answer for me.
