Cervical cancer is often related to the human pappaloma virus. I had it at the age of 29 but had a very thorough cone biopsy and have not had a recurrence since that time. That was almost 30 years ago. It is very easily cured if caught in time. Don't let them talk you in to a hysterectomy. Usually not necessary in this case. Good luck to your Aunt. Elaine
