I too have been diagnosed with interstitial cystitis. I am sure it is an accurate diagnosis. I began with the bladder installations. Then my doctor ppput me on Elmiron. After three or four months I did notice some relief. I would say I had about fifty percent relief in pain and I was satisfied about that. Except after a few more months wemt by I noticed I was becoming nausceous. It had gotten so bad I had to go off Elmiron. That has been about three months ago. The pain is back again like it was in the beginning. The other symptoms, urgency and frequency are tolerable at this point. In other words, I can deal with it so far. We will see what happens. Unfortunately my doctor said Elmiron was he only drug that was successful for intersitial cystitis. J.W.
