I was infected while I was pregnant. I had never had cp as a child, other family members have also had cp as adults. I received the Varicella immune globulin injections at approx. 20 wks gestation. I still had an outbreak, although slightly more mild. My daughter was born with an anterior anus that required surgery but still is chronically constipated. I'm still wondering if the chicken pox was responsible for this??
