Philip, I myself do not have this disease, but my husband does. He presently is in the hospital with heart difficulties. He has had scaroid for about 14 years, lung, skin, and heart envlovement. He has live on predisone raising and lowering from time to time. He has had a biopsy of his heart and the damage there is from the scarcoid. So make sure you get your heart checked out often. He nearly died from this. He is a trooper and still presses on. He will be going to Mass General where they seem to know more about this disease. Take good care Cheryl
