Hello Phillip, I've was informed I had sarcoid of lungs in 82' and have been on pred since then. I am on maintenance dose of 10 mg per day, before 9am. I am on a host of other drugs due to pulmo problems including oxygen, but I lead an outside life. I live in the Hudson Valley in NY I travel to Md., and NC as well as Atlantic City. I pretty much go where I want to go. I recently got a motorized wheel chair as I love to go to the mall and other shopping and I tire and most time have to cut it short. But life goes on. I saw on the net something about melatonin therapy and plan today to investigate this further. The thing to remember is not to give up and I live daily by the serenity prayer that I and I alone know just how far I can push myself. Good luck...
