Hi, I have a son who is 7 and has hydrocephalus since birth, shunted at 6 mos. He suffered with headaches and I found that taking all additives and perservatives out of his diet helped alot. He had the headaches so bad that he would vomit, go into a coma type state and stay there for a week & have to be hospitalized. He would only wake to vomit again and them back to sleep. That has stopped now, perhaps he outgrew some of it, but I feel that taking out the additives really helped.
