Don't take this as advise, but every doctor I have seen, including many specialist, related to my DVT have said I can fly. I had to fly home from Hong Kong. I asked two doctors if it was okay, They said yes. I have to return there for work in about a week, and both doctors I asked here said it would be okay to make the flight. It is a 12 hour flight. Maybe your condition is different than mine. I was in the hospital for 10 days for DVT of an upper extremity (sub clavian) vein obstruction in the chest.
