Hello. I also have been diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis and have been using Enbrel for just three months now. All other meds failed but I am now beginning to get some relief since the doctor added a new CO2 inhibitor called Vioxx, 25mg one daily. There is hope for your son to get relief, just never give up trying to find the right combination of medications that become effective. I hope this info helps. Take care.
