Sheri-I have AS and have just recently figured out that that is the name for the pain I have been experiencing for the past 3 years. I am 33 years old and I have found great relief from Vicoprofen and Zydone. The NSAID's don't do a thing for the pain. Unfortunately, it is hard to find a doc that understands this condition and alos one who is willing to work with you to get you the pain medication that works for you. My doc is about to retire, so I don't know what I'm going to do. Start looking I guess. I'm curious, do you notice the pain is worse prior to your period ? I have been reading alot on AS but can't find much info on how it's different for women. Please e-mail if you'd like-I really need support in living with this. Best wishes, Rachel
