Do NOT feel guilty if your baby has colic. My baby (now age 10!) cried almost constantly for the first 3 months of her life - around 3 mos. it just stopped and she turned into the sweetest, happiest baby (and now child) you could imagine. Some doctors believe that the nervous system may not be completely developed at birth and so the brain gets "mixed signals" or something. I just toughed it out, walked hewr a lot when she cried, gave her lots of love and tried to get enough sleep and stay sane myself. As I said, she is now more than fine - so good luck!
