I have RSD. I have not been restored to previous state of health but I could have been had I had a doctor who knew the effects of RSD. There is a window frame of 6 months of which time that the effects of RSD can be reversed after the initial 6 months the RSD has infiltrated your muscular system and the RSD has basically "set up shop" in your body, particularly to the affected area and once the RSD has sustained and conquered the affected area, the RSD will spread but yes, there is a possibly of reversing the effects of RSD, if the RSD is diagnosed and treated within 6 months after the initial injury that caused the RSD; unfortunately a lot of medical doctors still are unaware of RSD and thus their patients who have RSD go undiagnosed and untreated specifically for RSD well after the 6 month time frame. I hope this answers your question. Take Care
