hi dear ; i am 30 years old i had rp since i was about the same age as your son. and thier was no real treatment for the rp . but i still see at night i am not completly blind and also i could walk and drive in the day light. any way i had visted the eye and ear infemary in boston tow years ago and so far they didn't have any real treatment to help slow down the progressed any way with some help fom my doctors and friends and my research i had been using vitamIn A 15000IU FROM freeda combany in ny city. and also i have to tell that i visted england about 7 years ago an they didn't have any thing for that and if you have any new info please feel free to e mial [thank you]and i wish i can help you more
