My son had shingles when he was 15. He had blisters on one side of his body (around the collar bone area and up the back of his neck). We went to the doctor and received an antibotic and was also given a cream to put on the blisters. The doctor gave us a video to watch and it actually said it could take a year and upwards until they feel good again. That the fatigue will take a while to go away and the pain. Hope this helps somewhat.
