I am Eighteen years old, and i have had Nystagmus all my life. I have just recently been studying it, and have found myself hating the results. I asked my doctor when I was younger why my eyes shaked so bad, and why all the kids in school made fun of me for it. He never really gave me a good answer. He just said that it was because of my Nystagmus. I never noticed that they would shake back and forth just by looking at them, but everyone else did. I haven't been able to figure out what type I have. But I'm still trying. I recently went to get a new pair of contact lenses, because the lens in my left eye didn't seem to work. And the doctors responce was you have Nystagmus so your never going to see clearly. That hurt more than anything. There is nothing that I have ever wanted more than to see. I just hope that someday in my life time someone will fix this, so I won't have to be bothered by it anymore.
