I submitted another post, but one symptom I didn't mention in my previous post was that as a kid, I experienced a lot of nosebleeds, like at least one to three a week, throughout my whole childhood. It was pretty distressing. I know another beta thal person who also experienced constant nosebleeds when he was a kid. I eventually grew out of that, thankfully. I also became dizzy or light headed a lot, I would sleep for 10 hours & still be tired in the a.m. as a kid. Caught every cold, etc. that was going around, subject to skin infections, etc. I didn't know I had thal minor until I was around 25 yrs. old.
