My mom just found out she has hydrocephalus. She needs a shunt put in on Tuesday. She has trouble with her gait(walking), her memory and incontinence. The doc says that the hydrocephalus is causing all three of her problems...hopefully she will get relief after the surgery. It's possible that your mom's memory will also improve.
