Sharon, go see a Dr. Surgery can be done to relieve the pinching of the spinal cord. If it is serious, you can end up w/ nerve damage. My son had a 7 level cervical laminectomy done yrs ago. It helped him a lot, but he did lose some muscle tone because surgery was not done soon enough. You need to be tested to make sure what is causing your problems. Good Luck.
