My Uncle had a similar problem and was told he had Meniere's Disease. With the buzzing do you also suffer from vertigo? My uncle did?
At the present time although there is no cure for Meniere's disease, but there are ways to manage the condition and help control symptoms. My Uncle is doing OK now!
My suggestion is to see a doctor.
