Hi Shar- It seems like we will be taking Prednisone forever. I am sorry to hear you had such a bad flare. Hope you are feeling better. I am stuck on 7 mg, which doesn't sound so bad after what you have just gone through. My new rheumatologist wants some tests and then wants to increase the methotrexate. It will be two months until I see him, so there is really nothing new. Occasionally I have a minor flare, but nothing like the beginning of this thing. I take a pain pill and it helps. Hope you are feeling better. Let me know how you are doing. Ida
