My daughter had a seizure in December. At the ER they diagnosed it as a prolonged, 15 minutes, febrile seizure. She also had two ear infections. One month later she was life flighted due to another seizure where there was no fever involved, and she turned blue due to slow breathing. In the hospital they could find no cause for her seizure. She spent the day in ICU, and then was released home healthy. The doctor said because the seizure lasted 35 minutes they were diagnosing her with complex febrile seizures. One month has went by and we have not had a seizure yet. We are scheduled for an upcoming MRI. I am very worried about her. She is 12 months old. Has anyone elst had any experience with Complex febrile seizures? We adopted her so I do not know her families medical history. She was also born addicted to Cocaine.
