An update to my previous message: I was off Prednisone for an entire month, on vioxx and then bextra instead; then had a flare up and am on 5 mg prednisone and Sundilac for two weeks after which we hope I can reduce it by 1 mg a week. Besides, this one of my rotator cuffs is torn, perhaps completely through, at least a partial result of exercising while on prednisone (it breaks down your muscles and leads to this kind of injury), so watch out!
