At the age of 46 I am finding that my procedure (tonsillectomy) of three days ago. I find that the pain is quite tollerable. My only true complaint is that i can't eat solid foods. And the amount of flem I have! I am taking my pain meds as prescribed. I suppose the point I am trying to make here is, everyone is different in the way they react to the surgery. Although I have not made it to the dreaded 5,6,&7th day yet. I hear that is suposed to be the worst as far as post operative pain. This remains to be seen.
