I have had shoulder pain for several years in varying degreees. I had an Xray and was given a shot of cortizone into the shoulder area. It helped for about 3-4 weeks. THe pain came back but I could handle it. Now about 18 months have passed and the pain is more severe and motion is impaired. I experience pain to dress and get dishes out of the cupboard. I have another appointment with a different doctor next week. I was diagnosed before with calcified tendonitis. I have read about bursitis and it sounds very much like that. Has anyone had success being treated for this. I hope so, the pain is severe. Thanks.
